There are certain things you should expect from your online registration provider, such as secure payments, promo codes, and volunteer management. Below are a few questions you should ask your registration provider to ensure you and your participants remain happy.

1. Do you promote races in my area using my participant emails?

Some registration companies use your mailing list to promote competing races in your area.

2. Do you make money off the advertisements on my registration page?

This is a popular revenue stream that according to our research most participants would rather do without. Furthermore, if you are bringing the traffic to the site, should you not get a cut?

3. Why am I signing a contract?

GOOD QUESTION. Should I not WANT to use your services year after year?
